Muricacea
Species in this group feed by either scavenging for dead or dying animals or through more active predation. They all possess a long flexible proboscis through which water is drawn before passing over a sensory organ which can taste potential prey. The mouth and radula are also found at the end of the proboscis. Species in this group also have a very distinctive radula which never has more than three teeth per row.
