The common species most frequently found in this type of disturbed habitat include:–

Snails: Aegopinella nitidula, Cepaea hortensis, Cepaea nemoralis, Cornu aspersum, Discus rotundatus rotundatus, Monacha cantiana, Oxychilus cellarius, Trochulus hispidus,Trochulus striolata, Vitrina pellucida.

Slugs: Arion hortensis (agg.), Arion intermedius, Deroceras reticulatum, Tandonia budapestensis, Tandonia sowerbyi.

The nomenclature used in the list follows "An annotated list of the non-marine mollusca of Britain and Ireland." by Dr. Roy Anderson,  revised 2008, which may also be accessed from the menu to the left under 'British Non-marine List'.
