Slug control
- There is more to slug control than a packet of pellets. There are options here for all situations. Dr Bill Symondson's article covers the identification of slug pest species, chemical and non-chemical methods of controlling slug pests, resistant plant varieties, and how to encourage natural predators.
- A recent development has been the use of Ferric Phosphate pellets.
- Ferric Phosphate Fact Sheet
- Ferric Phosphate based pellets – Approved for organic farming under EEC Directive 2092/91.
- Slug resistant garden plants (or nearly so!)
